💌 If you’re navigating change, this one’s for you

sweet one,

there are seasons in life when things make sense as they’re happening — when the story feels linear, when the dots connect, when you can see the arc you’re inside of.

and then there are the other seasons.

the ones that don’t announce themselves.

the ones that undo you quietly, then completely.

the ones that dismantle what you thought you knew, who you thought you were becoming, and the future you were already living in your mind.

this past year was one of those seasons for me.

and what I’ve learned (and am still learning) is this:

🌱 sometimes we don’t grow because we try to grow.

🌱sometimes we grow because life rearranges itself around us, and our only job is to stay alive and pay gentle attention — even when everything feels blurry, contradictory, or unfinished.

there were things I knew intellectually — truths I could teach, could articulate, could see clearly in others — but this year, my lived experience asked me to believe them in my bones.

things like:
✨ grief and joy can coexist in the same breath
✨ identity is not static; it reshapes itself as quickly as life does
✨ intuition gets louder when ego dissolves
✨ creativity can save us
✨ and duality… duality is not a concept, but a muscle we build

what integrated for me this year — finally, fully, painfully, beautifully — was this:

our capacity for peace and joy is directly tied to our ability to hold contradiction without trying to resolve it.

to let opposites exist inside of us without turning them into conflict.

to allow life to be messy without making it mean we are failing.

to let ourselves be unfinished without rushing toward a conclusion.

maybe you already know this.
maybe you’ve known it for years.
maybe you’re just now realizing how much pressure you’ve carried trying to make sense of things that simply haven’t had time to reveal themselves.

wherever you are in your unfolding — I hope you know that you’re not doing it wrong.
you’re not late.
you’re not behind.
you’re not alone.

and if you want to hear the story of how all of this integrated for me — the loss, the rebuilding, the unexpected paths, the rediscovery of self, the tiny miracles, the contradictions that shaped me — I recorded a new episode of The Inner Briefing:

✨ 94. Between Grief and Beauty: A Year of Becoming

this one is tender.
this one is honest.
this one might meet you right where you are.

thank you for walking this strange, beautiful path of being human with me.
thank you for reading.
thank you for existing.

I’m sending you so, so much love as you step into the new year.
